Tools of Rock Launches First Metaverse Concert Hall on The Sandbox
The world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is a growing space, with staggering amounts being generated in revenue and sales.
In addition to the NFT experience, The single person star and founder of Tools of Rock (TOR), one of the leading music-focused NFT platforms, JJ Lane launched Metaverse’s first dedicated concert hall in The Sandbox on February 21, 2022.
TOR partnered with Loretta Chen and Ruel Sarmiento, founders of leading digital agency and design studio – Smobler Studios, for this project. The company is the first of its kind in the world.
Here’s everything we know about the Metaverse’s first concert hall
About the concert hall
The creation of the first concert hall is considered a “masterpiece” because it will help iconic musicians and bands solidify their presence in the metaverse. With this, JJ Lane aims to bring real-life music and artists into the digital realm.
JJ Lane says: “What we’ve seen over the past two years with COVID-19 is that touring revenue, once a staple for artists, is no longer certain… But the concert hall TOR will never close! A place open worldwide, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with minimal overhead and giving fans unprecedented access to their favorite artists is what will make the Metaverse so powerful for all participants.
After talking with several other design studios, Lane zeroed in on Smobler Studios for their innovation and imagination, as it piqued TOR’s interests throughout the development of the first concert hall in Metaverse.
About TOR and their NFTs
TOR launched its first original NFT collectible range, Tools of Rock: Vol. 1, in August 2021 and since then the company has grown exponentially. This was followed by the release of his Metaverse avatars in the Rock Gods collection.

The Sandbox needs no introduction for those up to date with the Metaverse and NFTs. Developed by Arthur Madrid and Sébastien Borget, The Sandbox is a decentralized Ethereum-based NFT gaming metaverse. It is known for its user experience which makes Metaverse interaction and NFT typing a smooth and easy process.
It provides an excellent platform to build such a concert hall as it has a huge base of NFT creators and collectors. It also offers players a unique gaming experience using their $SAND token. In fact, SAND holders get the right to vote on key issues in The Sandbox ecosystem.
