Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Street Party
Saturday, June 4, 2022
Bradford’s museums take you back to the 1950s, the year of the Queen’s coronation, and are running a variety of activities throughout the bank holiday weekend to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. On Saturday 4th June, the Bradford Industrial Museum will host a street party with outdoor games and a 1950s band. Everyone is invited to dress up in 1950s attire (including the BIM team!) and to bring a picnic. Machines will also be running in the printing and weaving galleries. Drawing and craft activities will take place at the museum on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Also, don’t miss the Jubilee ‘Platinum Record’ exhibition, which features footage from the coronation archives and royal visits.
