“Yesterday, at the second annual GIRLS Day, our members gave young girls a taste of what it’s like to be a police officer and showed them that one day they could be one too.

The girls had the chance to participate in mock activities, see K9 demonstrations and even see a helicopter landing up close.

The Association would like to thank the City of Everett for hosting this year’s event and all of the first responders who attended. Giving these young girls the opportunity to see what the job is all about hopefully allows them to become first responders themselves one day. -Massachusetts State Police Association.
