Internet Vikings launches hosting services in Louisiana

Internet Vikings has launched its hosting services in Louisiana.

The provider said “the research reveals quite clearly that Louisiana has long had a concrete policy that prohibits all forms of online gambling.” However, in June 2021, the state officially recognized and legalized sports betting, followed by retail and online participation in October 2021 and January 2022 respectively. Legally licensed operators include commercial and tribal casinos, as well as racetracks and online businesses.

“This is a huge achievement for us,” said Victor Jerlin, CTO of Internet Vikings. “Louisiana holds a wealth of opportunity as it finally welcomes the online gaming community.

“We have grown exponentially in this lucrative sector, and being at the forefront allows us to offer a myriad of crucial services to businesses of all sizes.”

Internet Vikings went live in Baton Rouge in December 2021 and has already obtained the necessary rights to operate legally and establish customer bases in New Jersey and Michigan. The provider added that it has already set its sights on several other US states that are in the process of regulating online gambling.

Internet Vikings CEO Rickard Vikström said, “At Internet Vikings, we have worked tirelessly to develop solutions that are very different from other hosting companies, with more innovative services that are uniquely tailored to each customer. .

“In light of our steady growth and expanding customer base, we look forward to continuing in this direction. We are happy to operate in Louisiana and will continue to work to expand our presence in the United States.
