Grow with Google provides small businesses in Nevada with tools to reach customers in a changing economy

Carson City, Nevada – On Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. PT, Google will co-host an online workshop with the Office of Small Business Advocacy for local small businesses as part of the “Grow with Google” initiative of the technology company. “Grow with Google” aims to help create economic opportunity in communities across the United States by providing free training, tools, and expertise to help people grow their skills, careers, and businesses. Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead joins the workshop to welcome attendees and reinforce the importance of digital skills in Nevada.

The virtual workshop, “Reach Customers Online With Google”, will be led by Grow with Google Professional Trainer Israel Serna, and teach small business owners how they can be found online with Google Search and how to improve their website’s visibility with Search Engine Optimizations (SEO). Grow with Google workshops provide digital skills training and coaching tailored to help small businesses reach new customers and grow their business online. In Nevada, Grow with Google has partnered with more than 60 organizations to train more than 88,000 Nevadans in digital skills, including public libraries, chambers of commerce, community colleges, and more.
